Remove the adhesive backing. Apply the patch to clean, dry skin where you experience pain or discomfort. Leave it on for up to 24 hours. Remove the patch immediately if you experience severe stinging. Wash your hands thoroughly after application. Apply another patch to the same area no sooner than 48 hours later. Avoid contact with eyes and mucous membranes.
