Isotonic sodium chloride solution cleanses the nasal cavities of residual secretion, bacteria, viruses and allergens, cares for the nose and sinuses and moisturizes the nasal mucosa. Hypertonic sodium chloride solution, in addition to its cleansing effect, has osmotic properties, thanks to which it reduces swelling of the mucous membrane.
