< strong >Vicks VapoRub ointment is used in the symptoms of irritation and inflammation of the mucous membrane of the nose and throat (e.g. in the course of colds): cough, runny nose with swollen membranes mucous membranes in the nose and a feeling of difficulty breathing ("stuffy nose").

Healing ointment for the symptoms of colds Vicks VapoRub contains as active ingredients: camphor, eucalyptus oil, levomenthol, turpentine oil, which relieve ailments of the upper respiratory tract in catarrh. Menthol and camphor soothe swelling of the mucous membranes of the nasal concha and soothe cough by a mild anesthetic effect. Eucalyptus oil and essential oil turpentine stimulate the secretion of mucus in the upper tract respiratory, stimulating expectoration.
