Biotebal MAX is a vitamin preparation containing biotin, also known as vitamin H or vitamin B7. The drug is used to treat severe symptoms of biotin deficiency, such as: hair and nail loss and growth disorders, inflammation of the skin around the eyes, nose, mouth and ears. Vitamin H supports the processes of keratin formation and the differentiation of epidermal cells as well as hair and nails, improving their condition. Biotebal MAX is a drug with the highest over-the-counter dose of 10 mg of biotin in one tablet in the form of white flat tablets with a smooth surface.

Biotin may interfere with laboratory tests based on the interaction of biotin and streptavidin, leading to falsely lowered or falsely increased test results, depending on the assay.
